I'm using Linkin Park logo

 Use the base color and make it little dark

 Add the darker color at side only and bright color at middle

Add brighter color at middle (brush use smaller size than bright color). Finally add highlight.

Creative Thinking

What is creative thinking?
To think out of the box, think differently and it's never in permanent. Looking at problems or situations from a fresh perspective that suggests a solutions (which may look unsettling at first).

6 color hats :
White : Gather information
Yellow : Look at positive, gather benefits
Black : Cautiously, defensively, be carefully and watch out
Red : Using intuition, gut reaction, and emotion. (E.Q/Feeling)
Green : Freewheeling way of thinking, think creative
Blue : Process control, decision picking
